as the company confirms its intention to move most of the UK production model.
To the factory in Thailand But not all
Triumph said that they will continue to build about 4,500 motorcycles per year
at the Hinkley plant.
After all production volume has been moved to foreign countries

This move Announced to Triumph employees on 20 February 2020.
Currently, the company produces 65,000 motorcycles a year
from production at Hinckley, with only 10% of which models are still produced.
In the United Kingdom, the latest models are the Speed Triple and Tiger 1200,
and are expected to be delivered to the factory in Chonburi, Thailand.
Production at Hinkley will be left with the Custom Triumph Factory ( TFC)
high quality and select other special constructions only

Triumph Chief Executive Officer Nick Bloor Added that
"We are preparing For the strategic growth of Triumph
We want to increase the opportunities for brand growth around the world.
Especially in the Asian market This is why we increase our design resources.
And focus on our many production capabilities in Thailand"

While Triumph's manufacturing plants in Thailand use a two-shift system,
which means they can increase production very well.
However, all research and design is still in England.
By intending to invest more in the Hinckley factory They will expand
and fully upgrade the research and development department.
There are plans to hire 20 additional employees to specifically
develop the R & D center and will use 16,000 square feet to design
and develop all Triumph models.
